Dr. Joshua L. Hadnot
Consultant | Leader | Learner | Motivator | Philanthropist
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. The elements of effective business strategies, leadership, motivation, inspiration, and teamwork are what drives my desire to bring my best self in service to others. People are the focus of my attention as without them in positions to succeed, organizations would be in tough positions to complete their mission and vision. Talent must be cultivated in an environment designed to benefit the people, but it starts with culture.
Leadership and the depths that it provides and brings out in people has always been an interest of mine. I first began my leadership journey in the business world at the age of seventeen working for a fast food restaurant and grocery stores where I was provided opportunities to lead at a young age. Hurricane Rita struck our area and basically changed my plans about life. Since graduating from Jasper High School, I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, Master of Science Administration of Justice and Security, Doctor of Management with a certificate in Public Management all while becoming more entrenched in leadership principles. I am a sworn Texas Master Peace Officer through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and have been employed as police officer for a decade. Along with being a volunteer firefighter. I am a father, husband, philanthropist and most importantly believer in Jesus. Without him sacrificing for us, none of us would be able to do what we desire.
Currently, I mentor young adults seeking to enter the business world while providing financial insight to them to help sustain good habits. I also mentor current doctoral students through their programs by being a supportive non biased resource. College is tough as eventually these young adults are preparing to make decisions that could change their lives forever. Having a support system to broaden the view of any situation is always a good thing, even though the ultimate decision theirs. I also provide consulting services to major corporations and investors regarding the latest public safety technology and trends, website development, community engagement, recruitment and retention. Along with helping them explore how to streamline data processes within their organizations and maximize the output of people with a focus on their organizations sustainable culture. I hold positions on several boards and committees focused on community and workforce development. People focused is how I prefer to view the workforce, this includes developing those people and ensuring they can succeed in their positions. I also lead worship with my wife Taylor, at Harvest Church, which has been my church for over 20 years and assist in other areas of operation.
